3 Reasons Why You Should Do Your Vows Privately
Emily & Michael got married this August and it was so beautiful. We started at Emily & Michaels home where Emily grew up, getting ready, enjoying coffee and conversation. During the getting ready stage of the morning, Emily’s best friend read a letter she wrote to Emily on camera for Emily & Michael to watch back on after. It was such a sweet moment. The whole morning was filled with laughter and chatter.
Following this, we headed to the ceremony venue Orchard View, for a first look and private vow reading.
I’ve never actually had anyone do a private vow reading before but holy smokes, it was so special and so beautiful! Having absolutely no one around to distract they were able to completely fall into the moment and each other.
I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a little bit more privacy with their partner on their wedding day but not too sure how to actually achieve it!
- It’s more time you get with your partner and no one else
- You can make your vows longer and way more personal without worrying about your parents hearing or people getting bored
- If you hire a videographer and photographer to capture this you will always have an incredibly special and meaningful video of just the two of you making vows
After the ceremony, we headed to Lanark County for some incredible forest photos! It started to rain as we arrived but Emily & Michael decided to stick it out and WOW did they ever! Troopers of the year award goes to these two for being so willing to get absolutely drenched for some pretty stunning images!
