Top 12 GTA Wedding Venues (That Photograph Beautifully)
Looking for a wedding venue that looks incredible in photos and feels amazing to be in? As a wedding photographer who’s spent the last 8 years capturing weddings all over the GTA, these are the spaces I keep coming back to—the ones with great light, intentional design, and room to breathe. Whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony, a modern celebration, or something in the woods, these venues deliver.
Here are 10 of my favourite venues to photograph in (and ones my couples rave about too). Some are tried-and-true Toronto staples, and others are tucked just outside the city—but all are worth the drive.
River’s Edge at the Arlington – Paris ON
Natural light. Wood beams. Brick walls. River views. This venue is a dream for documentary-style storytelling and glowy, soft-lit portraits. Great indoor/outdoor flexibility, especially if you want a nature vibe without going too rustic.
Graydon Hall Manor – Toronto
Classic, elegant, and tucked right into the city. The formal gardens, stone terrace, and European-inspired interiors make this venue a go-to for couples who love timeless beauty with a modern edge.
Elora Mill Hotel & Spa – Elora
One of the most beautiful venues in Ontario, period. It has stone walls, riverside terraces, waterfall backdrops, and warm, moody interiors. It feels luxurious but not over-the-top.
The Doctor’s House – Kleinburg

One of the most charming venues around. A heritage chapel, garden ceremony space, and cozy reception areas make this a favorite for couples who want a venue that feels romantic but relaxed.
Evergreen Brick Works – Toronto

Industrial meets nature. Exposed beams, natural light, and tree-filled surroundings make this Toronto venue incredibly versatile. Ideal for couples who want urban vibes and nature in one space.
Merrill House – Picton
Artful interiors. An English-style garden. Editorial details everywhere. This venue is perfect for intimate weddings and couples who love unique, personality-filled spaces.
The Spice Factory – Hamilton
https://www.thespicefactory.ca/
Brick walls, vintage vibes, and industrial charm. This downtown Hamilton venue has amazing texture, moody window light, and room to customize. Great for laid-back couples who want something stylish but unfussy.
Royal Ashburn Golf Club – Whitby

Wide open skies, lush greens, and beautiful golden hour light make this golf course feel romantic and calm. The ceremony space is tucked away with great trees for portraits post-“I do.”
Gladstone House – Queen Street West, Toronto
A boutique art hotel in the heart of Queen West. Exposed brick, curated art, moody light, and some of the best getting ready spaces I’ve seen. Stylish without trying too hard.
The Venue – Peterborough
A hidden gem in downtown Peterborough. Industrial-modern meets rooftop vibes, with flexible spaces, skyline views, and tons of creative potential for ceremonies and receptions alike.
Erin Estate – Erin, Ontario
A forest venue tucked into cathedral pines with a built-in ceremony platform and a touch of fairy tale energy. The forest floor photos at golden hour? Unreal. You feel like you’ve stepped into a movie.
Kortright Centre for Conservation – Vaughan
A dream for outdoor lovers. Kortright offers multiple ceremony options—from forest paths to open pavilions—and has one of the best sunset portrait spots just a short walk away. Eco-conscious and surrounded by trees.
