Cave Spring Winery – Mini Wedding
Katy & Lucy got married at Cave Spring Winery last summer in a perfect mini-wedding! They got ready together, prepped everything they needed with their friends and guests and arrived together in time to greet everyone. As they greeted guests they put on some finishing touches and the ceremony started in no time.
With their closest family & friends, they had a beautiful and meaningful ceremony that was perfect. It was followed up with a gorgeous flower confetti aisle walk and then, of course, family and couple photos. Cave Spring Winery was the perfect backdrop for this mini wedding.
Their wedding is proof that sunset is a beautiful time for photos but totally not necessary for stunning photos! I played around with the sunlight and the shadows and we had so much fun. One thing I find so powerful is working with couples that are so genuinely in love that I barely have to say anything. These two beautiful people told me they were incredibly nervous and camera-shy. They told me their camera experience was basically nill and I should be prepared.
This is music to my ears because I’m a psycho that loves a good challenge, but It only took 20 minutes into their engagement session to realize that these two are so adorable and so in love that all I need to do is let them be together and enjoying their time with each other.
